What: Hiking from Black Balsam Knob to Davidson River Campground on the excellent Art Loeb Trail, picking blueberries and rasberries, climbing up an absurdly steep slab of rock, sliding down Sliding Rock, night-hiking to Moore Cove Falls, hiking on the gorge floor trail in the Tallulah Gorge, sliding down Bridal Veil Falls.
Camping: Big open camping areas are frequent along the trail, but water sources may be a little bit out of the way.
