Korean roe soup
What: Backpacking 20 miles through Jones Gap and Caesars Head State Parks in the far northwest corner of South Carolina. Pinnacle Pass (10 miles) was long, difficult and fairly boring. Naturaland Trust (4 miles) was fun but the campsites were difficult to find (if they existed at all). Rim of the Gap (6 miles) was awesome with lots of waterfall crossings, scrambles, etc.
Costs (per person):
Gas: $25
Camping: $5 for one night at Lake Hartwell and one at Caesars
Roe tofu soup and other bizarre Korean foods, with ice cream and coffee: $10
Ethiopian feast: $9
