Active Volcanoes in El Salvador - January 13th-16th, 2012

What:

Arrive in San Salvador and head to Hostel. Wake up early and head to Santa Ana volcano. This volcano is active and takes about 2 hours to climb to its peak. Once on the top, the view is amazing and can see green, acidic lake in the crater. On one side you have another active volcano and on the other side you have an inactive volcano which now just has a beautiful lake in the crater and many beautiful houses are here, including the ex-presidents house in an island in the middle of the lake. Rode Jet Skis here and ate some amazing food.

Next day, went to Punta Roca and surfed and swim. Walked around town and enjoyed the scenery. Got back home to the hostel and played in the pool, had some drinks and got ready to head to the airport.

Costs (per person): FLL-San Salvador flight: $130
