What:
Left Gainesville 5pm, camped at lake hartwell. woke up,drove 2 hours to NC
Backpacked 7-8 miles to Cheoah Bald. Total approx 2500-3000 ft gained. Cheoah=approx 5000ft
Slept on the summit, 360 degree views, met a lot of AT hikers
Woke up, raced back the way we came, drove to Gorges state park, hiked 2 miles to Rainbow Falls. 3 falls with waterholes: 1 we climbed under, 1 50 foot jump, 1 we slid off of
Having so much fun we stayed too long,
Atlanta at 11:00pm, ate at Meskerem
Went out and did some salsa dancing
Back in gainesville around 5:30am
