Time: 4-5 hours on the river
Difficulty: Easy
Description: Probably the best river in Florida - crystal-clear waters, plenty of wildlife, and a great swimming hole - just don't go during the summer time or you'll be dodging obnoxious tubers the whole way. The basic idea is to paddle 4 miles against the current (3mph) to the source of the spring. On your left, about 3/4ths of the way up will be a spring with a jump tree. Once you've reached the source, you can coast back to your car effortlessly.
Put-in: Ichetucknee Springs State Park, far south entrance (a few miles past the south entrance) - $5 per person entrance fee.
