6: Spent the day on the treasure coast, took a boat out to pelican cove for snorkeling and swimming at and near the pelican bar, a bar accessed only by boat surrounded by crystal clear blue water and reef. Went out that night for salsa dancing and a late night hike

7: Travel to Savanna la mar for exploration, then bus partially through the mountains toward montego bay, got off early in montpeller and did some day hiking along the road and toward nearby sites of interest. Slept in montego bay.

8: Woke up, explored and visited tourist areas, caught plane back.

Pros: got to meet a lot of very social and interesting people outside of the tourist areas, experienced the more dangerous side of jamaica as well, ate great authentic jamaican cuisine, cheap transportation and lodging if you know how to do it, got lots of practice with haggling, got lots of sun and some nice Jamaican tans!
